Description of bitumen 20/30

Bitumen 20/30 is a standard penetration grade bitumen. It is usually used as a paving grade bitumen for road constructions and also as a raw material to produce a different, more superior paving grade bitumen. Bitumen 20/30 have a thermoplastic property which causes the material to soften at high temperatures and to harden at low temperatures. The temperature-vs-stiffness relationship of bitumen is dependent on the type of crude oil and its refining method. Bitumen penetration grade 20/30 is semi-hard penetration grade bitumen used as a paving grade bitumen which is suitable for road constructions and repairs. Softening point and penetration of bitumen 20/30

Penetration grade bitumen supplied by jey pasargad is pure petroleum grade bitumen, manufactured from vacuum bottom by passing hot air. The bitumen supplied by jey pasargad is produced from remain of crude oil after cracking and removing hydrocarbon. Penetration between 20~30 desi-millimeter and softening point between 55 ~ 63C. The penetration grade bitumen 20/30 has a thermoplastic property which is like as synthetic resin material which gets softer with heating and hardens when cooled. This grade has very strong viscosity compare to other grades.
